About Emily
Designer Emily Hirsch has always moved through the world with a heightened attention, collecting experiences, emotions and impressions which she gives structure to and translates into jewelry with intention.
Emily draws on meaningful iconography and techniques while also infusing her designs with a modern touch. Whether it’s an ancient symbol or the curve of a ring, every detail is thoughtfully considered and executed.

About the founder
Born in Mendocino, California, Emily grew up nurtured by vast redwood forests, classic ‘70s vinyl, warm summer nights, the fall grape harvest and rainy windswept winters. Emily went on to study biology in college, spent half a year exploring the forests and beaches of Costa Rica and worked in the California wine business before moving to New York. Taking inspiration from the creative energy of New York and melding it with the free-spirited, bohemian aesthetic of her youth, Emily started TALON and began her journey creating meaningful & symbolic jewelry.
Emily lives in Ojai, CA with her husband, musican and sound engineer Scott Hirsch and daughter Issa.
